9th South African Horse shoulder titles. (9 S.A.H/9 Z.A.R.)
Two (2) 9th South African Horse brass shoulder titles.
Fought in 1915 as Hartigan’s Horse in German South West Africa and then as 9th South African Horse (9 S.A.H.)/9de Zuid Afrikaanse Ruiters (9 Z.A.R.) in East Africa till the end of WWI.
Hatigan’s Horse were formed from Eastern Cape police who were given permission to join.
S.A.H. on right shoulder and Z.A.R. on left shoulder.
Both in good condition with lugs intact.
