Set of camouflage uniform for the former South African homeland Kwa-Zulu Police. Circa 1980 to 1994. Hard to find camouflage uniform.
1. Jacket. size M (Medium), supplied by Charmaire - De Charmoy & Airey (South Africa). Good condition. All buttons intact and original. Velcro closing pockets and sleeves. Draw strings for waist and bottom of jacket.
2. Trousers. No size shown other than one tag with a number ‘4’. No manufacturer shown, but possibly same as jacket. Appears a small size. Used, but fairly good condition. Velcro closing mid-leg and back pockets. One button missing from front (zip area). One belt loop is missing original button, but previous owner substituted it with a Kwa-Zulu Police brass tunic button.
The KwaZulu was abolished in 1994 when it got integrated into the “new democratic” South Africa’s National Police Services.
